What is Peguera Beach Like?

Peguera, also known as Paguera beach, is made up of three beaches which are joined by a lovely beachside promenade.

The main beach, Playa Palmira, is joined by Playa de Tora and Playa la Romana.

All three white sandy beaches boast excellent facilities and can get quite busy during peak months.

The resort has been popular among German tourists for years. It has recently grown more popular with British holidaymakers.

The town of Paguera has a great range of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The town also has a number of green spaces, and buildings are typically low-rise.

It offers an excellent, child-friendly alternative to nearby Santa Ponsa.

Paguera beach is located in the southwest of the island and is just 24 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca.

Many of these great beaches are accessible by car and bus, giving you plenty of choices.

During busier seasons, it can be sensible to explore quieter options.

Cala Fornells is another great option that is worth exploring. Cala Fornells beach is significantly quieter than Peguera and has wonderful views.
