The Oris Classic Rally

This classic mooring event takes place in March and is considered by many to be one of the top dates in the motor rally circuit. Puerto Portals marina is the main hub of activity throughout the rally, where motor rally fans can see the cars up close and personal.

Sunset Market

Throughout the summer months, the town opens up as a market with dozens of stalls selling a series of delights. There is everything from hand-crafted jewellery to seasonal foods and even artisan cocktails, which are certainly not to be missed.

If you are bringing the little ones to Portals Nous, there’s plenty for them to do at Sunset Market, too, including child-friendly activities and games.

Puerto Portals Sailing Week

Halfway through September each year, the town is the setting for one of the biggest – and best – circuits for TP52 monohulls. Every year, some 12 boats from across the world battle it out in a tense race comprising ten rounds. A huge celebratory party is held throughout the celebrations, where live music is played.

Christmas Market

The Puerto Portals Christmas market is the highlight of the winter calendar in Portal Nous. Young couples, families and older people all flock the market to sample festive drinks, such as mulled wine, and browse through the stalls. If you are relying on public transport, the service in and around Portals Nous is regular and efficient. The bus regularly runs through the town. The TIB bus lines to Palma travel through Portals Nous alongside other popular hotspots for tourists.
