Hi and welcome to MallorcaInfo.com. We are Tom and Nicola Thorns and we are crazy about all things Mallorca and travelling in general.
Back in 2010 we took off from our home in the Uk and embarked on a 7-month around the world trip. We started in South East Asia, soaking up the culture and experiences (plus incredible food and drinks!) of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.
From there we travelled around Australia and New Zealand by bus, car and camper van – 100% some of the highlights of the 20 years we’ve been together.
Fast forward to 2023 and we’re back living in the UK with two amazing young boys so needed to scratch that travelling itch somewhere closer to home. Mallorca ticked all of the boxes.
An incredible island that’s big enough to get away from it all, but small enough to get to know. Mile upon mile of jaw-dropping coastline plus mountains rising to 1436m (growing up in The English Lake District means mountains are a must for Tom!).
We’ve both been holidaying in Mallorca since we were at school so knew many different places on the island well. It’s now our favourite place to go and we end up here a few times each year.
Creating this site was a way for us to share our thoughts on what makes Mallorca so special and also to share our love for the island with more people.
