Directly translated to “the better bay” this beach keeps its promises, being one of the biggest beaches in Mallorca.
The beach is over one kilometre long and thanks to its width you have an extensive array of sun loungers and umbrellas, shower and toilet facilities.
The beach itself has fine-grained white sand with clear blue waters right in front of you.
Right across the road is an equally extensive array of shops, bars and restaurants where one can browse, nibble or feast – whatever will make you happy during your holiday really.
Located in the largest of the many holiday resorts on the east coast of Mallorca, Cala Millor lies close to the town of Cala Bona and Son Moro Bonavista as well as the town of Son Servera, which is very popular for day trips.
You can walk along the wide promenade towards Cala Bona and check out one of the many shops that line the area.

It is needless to say that the whole area offers numerous restaurants and even karaoke bars. Some of these are overlooking the beautiful sea and the natural surroundings of Cala Millor.

Many boat trips anchor in front of this beach as well.
Is Cala Millor Family-friendly?
The beach is extremely popular for families as the water is quite shallow and the fine sand makes a perfect spot for small children to play in.
However, beware that you keep an eye on the waves and your little ones as the waves can cause undercurrents. Another thing to look out for is the various water sports that are performed at Cala Millor.
And if your kids ever get tired of playing on the beach there is the wonderful fantasy park, an amusement park right around the corner of Cala Millor Beach!
Where to Park at Cala Millor Beach
You will be able to find lots of parking on the sire roads in front of Cala Millor beach, next to all the restaurants and bars.
There are quite a few pedestrian zones in the area, therefore don’t expect to park your car just anywhere.
We suggest arriving early or staying in a hotel that is just across from this beautiful beach resort.
Other Nearby Beaches
Cala Millor is close to the cliffy coastline that is so typical for Mallorca, therefore you will not find another beach within walking distance. However, if you are keen on a little day trip with the car, the nearest beaches of Platja de sa Marjal and Platja de sa Coma are not even a ten-minute drive away!
Nearby Hotels & Resorts
Thanks to being the largest holiday resort in the area, you will find plenty of hotels and accommodations close to Cala Millor.
Lined along the seafront you will be able to find a lot of family-friendly hotels of a high standard with great service.
One that is highly recommended is the Protur Playa Cala Millor, which is an adults-only hotel right by the beach itself.
